The cost for Tag is varies and you will receive the Anti-Theft discount for your Comprehensive section of coverage.

If Tag is not installed in your high risk vehicles then some insurance companies are introducing a $500 High Theft Risk premium which can be voided by signing in with Tag.
How Tag Works: 3 Levels of Protection
Physical etch on the front driver and passenger side windows with the company logo to warn thieves that the car is protected.
The car is electronically etched with Nano tags, which are the size of a grain of rice and placed on the components of a vehicle that are traditionally dismantled and sold for parts. Each is encrypted and associated with a unique Tag number.
Multiple water-proof tracking units, equipped with an anti-jamming technology, are installed on the exterior and interior of the vehicle.

The Tag system has proven to significantly help in theft deterrence and vehicle recovery, ensuring your customers have peace of mind to locate and recover their vehicle.
Why are cars stolen? While every case is different, the three main motivations behind car theft remain more or less the same.
To Be Sold
The re-sale value for stolen cars or their parts on the black market are high, as identification numbers can be easily altered or removed.
For Transportation
Stolen cars can take thieves from point A to B quickly and are often later abandoned.
To Commit crimes
Stolen cars make perfect getaway vehicles for other crimes, such as robberies or break and enters.
Insurance customers can install Tag’s anti-theft technology for a discounted price of $249.95 (MSRP: $399.99). Customers who install this technology also benefit from a 20% Anti-Theft discount on their comprehensive premium or comprehensive portion of their All Perils premium.
Protect Your Vehicle
There is a small segment of customers whose private passenger vehicle is a high risk for theft. We are introducing a $500 High Theft Risk premium for these vehicles effective July 7, 2023, for new business and August 7, 2023, for renewals. Vehicle risk is assessed by looking at both make/model and geographical location of the vehicle.

​With the installation of Tag, the High Theft Risk premium will be removed and the 20% Anti-Theft discount will be applied as of the installation date. Your customers will also have the added peace of mind knowing their vehicle is better protected against theft.
